GOLDEN ABC, Inc. (GABC) continues to gain recognition as it receives the Pandemic Retail Innovation Award (Large Category) during the Outstanding Filipino Retailers Awards on June 8, 2023 at Okada Manila.
The Pandemic Retail Innovation Award recognizes GABC’s positive impact on the retail industry and the entire community through the company’s continued operations and innovative projects during the Covid-19 pandemic, simultaneously developing its digital retail space and preparing for the eventual return of the physical stores. GABC pioneered the use of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for their modern Distribution Center (DC), enabling a 400% faster turnaround compared to manual pick-and-pack and increasing the operations’ general productivity by 500%.

The Outstanding Filipino Retailers Awards is organized by the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). After a three-year hiatus during the pandemic, the Awards continue to recognize outstanding Filipino retailers for their exceptional success, innovation, and best business practices in the retail industry.
