Delegates from the APFC and WFC from various countries across the globe recently visited GOLDEN ABC’s state-of-the-art Distribution Center (DC) as part of their official itinerary during their twin regional meetings hosted by the Philippine Franchise Association.
GABC’s three-story DC took three years to complete and now undeniably stands as one of GABC’s sources of pride. In 2021, GABC successfully migrated all six brands into the new DC. Today, 240 Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) are buzzing about at full speed to pick and sort through thousands of products to fulfill orders on e-commerce sites and to top-up inventory of the group’s over 1,000 retail stores nationwide.
The DC represents supply chain innovation to ensure the smooth and effective flow of merchandise from the supply source to the stores and consumers. More importantly, it is an investment in GABC’s future as a market leader in the local and global fashion retail scene.
In his address, VP for Strategy and Operations, Bryan Liu, emphasized GABC’s commitment to giving the best customer experience. He shared how this modern DC has resulted to 400% faster turnaround and 500% increase in general productivity. What these mean the most is “timely and accurate order fulfillment– and ultimately, happy and satisfied customers.”
These thoughts were echoed by VP for Brand Management Jeff Bascon, who reiterated that, “at GABC, we excel by knowing what our customers like and striving to meet their preferences – that is why we have six amazing brands catering to different market segments.”
In closing, International Business and E-Commerce Director, Ronnie Celestial, shared that GABC’s vision is to share this amazing customer experience with the rest of the world. He explained, “The current trend may be bringing brands from abroad into the Philippines, but our goal is to do the reverse – our vision is to Build Brands for the World.”
GABC is grateful for this special visit by business and franchising leaders from Brazil, China, Colombia, France, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.
