IN RESPONSE to the declaration of a state of calamity in Mandaue City after its 11 barangays were heavily flooded, LH Foundation Inc. and its partner, Caritas Manila, facilitated the turnover of 3,400 boxes of instant noodles donated by Monde Nissin Cebu to the Mandaue City Social Welfare and Services Office on Oct. 7 and 18, 2022.
In a series of relief distribution drives held at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex, over 5,000 affected residents from Barangays Alang-alang, Cabancalan, Canduman, Casili, Casuntingan, Cubacub, Maguikay, Paknaan, Tabok, Tingub and Umapad received the food assistance.
