The Kaagapay Monument at the Loyola Retreat House-Spirituality and Art Center, Angono, Rizal.
The Kaagapay Monument is a striking sculpture by Kublai Millan, inspired by the Angono-Binangonan Petroglyphs— the Philippines’ oldest known artworks, dating back to 3500 BCE. Kaagapay, meaning “someone by one’s side” in Tagalog, reimagines these ancient figures through a monumental, three-figure sculpture, symbolizing unity and support.
