LH Foundation Inc. (LHFI), through its religious and heritage advocacies, extends its full support to the renovation and rehabilitation project of the Loyola Retreat House (LRH) in Angono, Rizal.
Built in 1964, the Loyola Retreat House (LRH) in Angono, Rizal has been a vibrant retreat center managed by a Jesuit Mission Band for various church groups who responded to calls for spiritual and pastoral renewal after the Second Vatican Council.
Through the years, LRH Angono has gone through different congregations who managed the property and its operations. In late 2021, after meetings with Ateneo campus ministers, Jesuit chaplains and others involved in the retreat ministry, the decision was made to renovate LRH Angono in view of the demands for retreat venues from the Jesuit schools alone, and other public and private institutions.
With Angono, Rizal being the “Art Capital of the Philippines,” LRH Angono will be renamed Loyola Retreat House Spirituality and Art Center- Angono (LRH-SACA) and is envisioned to be a place to concretize beauty as an approach to healing and wholeness before God.
Through LH Foundation, Inc., LRH-SACA’s renovation of facilities is now nearing completion and will be ready to accept retreatants from both the religious and lay community seeking spiritual formation by Q3 2023.
Likewise acknowledging the convergence of art and spirituality in LRH-SACA, Golden ABC, Inc. (GABC) will provide a venue for local and national artists to showcase their creative masterpieces through a dedicated Art Exhibit Center within the grounds of LRH-SACA.
Through LH Foundation, Inc., the LH Paragon Group upholds stewardship by continuing the enduring legacy of our Founders. It maintains an unwavering commitment to addressing religious, educational, heritage, and medical advocacies, forging collaborative partnerships with various institutions across the country.
