Matimco Inc., (MTC) driven by its fundamental core values of God-Centeredness and social responsibility, partners with Alpha Philippines to facilitate the Alpha in the Workplace Program for all its employees. Implemented in different batches, Alpha in the Workplace was cascaded to all participating employees by Matimco’s very own team of facilitators from their Business Management Team, having participated in the Alpha Regional Gathering (ARG23) 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last June 12 – 14, to share best practices to re-ignite hope, and to help rebuild the foundations of Spirituality, and apply them accordingly both at home, at work and in the community.
With guidance from Alpha Philippines, MTC’s Alpha in the Workplace Program engaged all attendees in a series of interactive activities designed to promote spiritual growth and encourage open discussions about the joys and challenges of living fully as good Christians, and ensuring balance in work, life and community integration.
Anchored on its social advocacy, Matimco continues to cement its commitment to stewardship throughout its various corporate social responsibility programs for the communities they serve.
Since 2021, Matimco has actively participated in Caritas Manila’s Segunda Mana Program by providing over 260,000 bd ft of products from floors, doors, framings, mouldings, lumber, and other products. Segunda Mana is the donations-in-kind program of Caritas Manila designed to help the poor help themselves. It is a social enterprise that collects in-kind donations and converts them into cash through their Charity Outlets in order to sustain Segunda Mana’s three main programs: Education, Livelihood and the 3R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
For their continuing support, Matimco, Inc. was awarded a Testament of Appreciation from the Caritas Manila Board last February 2023.
Through these continuing initiatives, Matimco continues to uphold the Company’s solid foundation anchored on the legacy of our Founders.
